Server updated στο Promod 4.31 hotfix. Τα rounds και οι nades επανήλθαν.

Το promod έγινε update στην τελευταία έκδοση του η οποία μπλοκάρει αρκετά abuse cheat commands που θα μπορούσαν να δώσουν πλεονέκτημα στον παίκτη. Ένα από αυτά είναι και το

/r_dlightLimit 0

Το οποίο πρέπει να παραμένει πάντα 0 αλλιώς θα θολώσει η οθόνη και σας spamάρει Please dont cheat και ατέλειωτο θόρυβο.

Επίσης αν το πρόβλημα παραμένει, θα πρέπει να φροντίσετε ωστέ και οι παρακάτω commands να έχουν σωστές τιμές:

cl_maxpackets 100 || rate 25000 || sm_enable 0 || sc_enable 0 || r_dlightLimit 0 || dynent_active 0 || cg_nopredict 0 || r_lodscalerigid 1

μπορει καποιος που ξερει να μου πει ποσο ειναι το round time limit στο 4.22 και πως το αλλαζουμε αυτο?
+ ποσα nades -smokes k.t.l. επιτρεπετε να εχεις και πως τα οριζουμε στο config?

Η ύπαρξη του promod ουσιαστικά προκείπτει και από την ανάγκη να μην βάζει ο καθένας χέρι σε αυτές τις τιμές. Συνεπώς δεν μπορούν να αλλαχτούν manually. Το μόνο που επιτρέπεται είναι αλλαγές σε ένα game mode που λέγετε custom_public, για ευνόητους λόγους.

Ανάλογα το mode πάνε και οι nades. Αν είναι match_mr12 πρέπει να έχει απ'όλα. To round ή 2 ή 1.45 είναι αν θυμάμαι καλά.

Ο server έγινε update αλλά υπάρχει ένα θέμα με το public gametype που τρέχαμε, και πλέον δεν είναι εφικτό να το τρέξεις χωρίς το ενοχλητικό μήνυμα Server Violation. Γι'αυτό και προς το παρόν ο pub δεν έχει nades και τα rounds είναι λίγα ανά map. Μόλις έχω νεότερα από τους developers του promod θα σας ενημερώσω.

Απ'ότι φαίνεται, με το version 4.30(4.31), γίνεται μία κίνηση "ενοποίησης" των δύο mod (DAMN και Promod)... Αυτό σημαίνει οτι είμαστε πολύ κοντά σε ένα final version.

We will be incorporating a number of features from DAMN," said Juszn when discussing the future of Promod "a bundle of new features from the next upcoming Promod release to ensure the gaming platform stays solid.

"European's will be thinking "Don't change promod too much!", but i can ensure you thats not going to happen as so far the mod has been successful on the basis that everything was voted into and out of the mod and that will continue to be the case up until the FINAL comes out, Special thanks to TCA on that one, but the new mod itself will contain everything 4.22 has and ALOT more, one being the ever famous Shoutcaster Overlay, and other unique features from DAMN mod." *They don't release a new promod if they're bored now
Known issues: community is not split very well, we'll fix that in a future release.

Δεν βλέπω που είναι το κακό να βγαίνουν αρκετές εκδόσεις για να δοκιμάζονται και να βρίσκονται και τα bugs πιο γρήγορα. Προφανώς σε official matches δεν θα μπαίνει η κάθε εκδοσή που βγήκε χθες άλλα μια δοκιμασμένη και αποδεκτή.

Promod 4 Final Change log:
 M4/MP5 rebalanced to approximate the current calibre of AK47/74u for wider variety of gun use with revised hitbox system
 Game environment physics further reduced (10-15 % FPS Boost)
 Car's instantaneously delete glass/bumper/bonnet from game environment (FPS Boost)
 Deadly bolts for sniper rifles introduced to potentially remove chest & neck direct hit tagging on a moving target
 End of round no longer freezes the player to the floor, enabling free movement whilst scores appear
 Promod graphic setting "Stock lighting" has now been restored to its original value
 Various security enhancements added
 Shoutcaster overlay now supports widescreen monitors
 RUP function lagg fixed
 Logprints added to rup mode indicating which area of the model has been hit
